How to get a quote


We will need some details about you and your business to allow us to prepare your quote – it’s a bit more complicated than just insuring a single car. It should take you about 10 minutes to tell us.

The information acts as the basis for our quote to you, so please be honest! Failure to disclose ‘material facts’ about you or your business could make your policy invalid.

In most cases we can provide an immediate quote and cover. If not, we’ll call you back, usually within 24 hours.

How to pay

We make it simple – and give you a choice

Once you’ve accepted our quote you can:

  • pay in full
  • make agreed contributions to a payment plan

Once full payment is made or the first instalment paid, we will send you a cover note.

If you pay by instalments, we will not issue the annual Certificate of Insurance until instalments meeting 35% of the annual premium have been paid. You will receive continuation cover notes in the interim.

Direct Debit

This is now a very popular way to pay insurance premiums in monthly instalments.

Instalments are interest free. You pay an initial refundable security deposit of 25% of the total amount of the premium. Click here to see examples of How our Direct Debit works.

You need to complete a Direct Debit Instruction form to arrange this. This is normally sent to you with the quotation. Once completed, the form should be returned together with the proposal form, the 25% security deposit and all other documents.

Cheque

You can pay by cheque, made payable to Road Runner Motor Trade Ltd.

Credit/Debit Card

We also take payment on your credit/debit card. Just tell us the appropriate numbers, expiry date, etc. This payment is taken over the telephone.
